Yes, we have a simple questionnaire which can be submitted online. Once we have received this we will assess your move details and get back in touch with our price and availability.
Absolutely. We’re fully insured with Goods in Transit and Public Liability for your peace of mind. We are also insured to disconnect and reconnect mains water appliances like washing machines and dishwashers.
In most moving situations we'd be more than happy to assist you with packing. If you pack yourself, we can supply materials like boxes, tape, and garment cartons if needed.
If you have paid a deposit to secure a booking date, which then needs to be changed. We allow for a 6 week window for your move to be rescheduled.
It depends on the items. If drawers are full of heavy items (like books), they should be packed in boxes, but clothing can usually stay in the drawers. We typically wrap drawers and wardrobes in shrink wrap which keeps everything secure for transporting.
It is best to book as soon as you have a confirmed moving date, typically when contracts are exchanged, to ensure availability, especially for Fridays and weekends.
Prices are primarily based on the volume of items, distance, ease of access, and added services like packing. We typically price our jobs by the hour, and travel costs by the mile. In most situations we supply materials at cost price.
