“Everyone needs a reliable moving company that do a great job and there are plenty of those companies out there but PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS REVIEW to understand why ProMove should be anyone’s first choice for any removal requirements.
Chris and Tom from ProMove were utterly exceptional from start to finish when they carried out a last-minute job for us which was incredibly urgent due to a crisis we found ourselves in less than two weeks before Christmas.
We were unfairly notified that a large (7 bedroom!) poor-performing serviced accommodation property we had been leasing needed to be empty within a matter of days after a break in contract (no fault of our own). We had no idea of how we were going to achieve this with the property based in Liverpool and our location in Essex.
Following a frantic online submission to obtain quotes from various companies in Liverpool, Chris was the only person to follow up on the same day, properly with a personal phone call and an immediate response and basic plan to solve our problem. He was also willing to visit the property that night after he had finished work!
He provided various options from the start and absolutely everything he said he and his team could provide for us was delivered in the most professional timely manner and with excellent communication throughout (via regular updates through messages, photos, videos,etc.).
There was a colossal amount of furniture to be moved and once we had ascertained it was too difficult in the timeframe to find somewhere to store it near to us (the team were willing to drive it to us!), Chris kindly provided us with storage solutions in Liverpool which he had good in-depth knowledge of, meaning for the time being we had somewhere to house the furniture – this was a huge relief and alleviated a great deal of stress as everything had felt so far out of our control and completely unachievable from so many miles away.
Upon gaining access to the property, Chis and Tom went through the entire contents, assessing the condition the furniture was in, helping us to decide on items for disposal, donation, and storage. All of this was done over video calls during day 1 with the team removing everything that was not to be kept, whilst packing the rest of the property for day 2.
As promised, an early start on day 2 meant the guys were able to professionally pack everything, travel to a different location to obtain mattress protectors (the storage facility did not stock these), completely clear the property via a few runs back and forth, and finish up with a tidy and hoover of the property, additionally taking meter readings for us and a full video of the entire house to record the respectable state it had been left in.
With a late finish we had a final video call from Chris once the job was complete to show the furniture in the storage unit to give us full comfort that all of the items were safe and secure. We were astounded to hear that the team had gone without any lunch to ensure the job was concluded that day, as they were travelling abroad on holiday in the early hours of the following morning!
We cannot believe how lucky we were to have ProMove come to our rescue and provide such an outstanding service. EVERYTHING THEY DID WAS ABOVE AND BEYOND AND AT A PRICE WE FOUND TO BE UNBEATABLE (once the other companies had responded after a few days). The pricing was so amazing we actually compensated them for more than we were charged.
We also cannot emphasise enough how much we recommend that this company be used for anyone seeking a removal firm that wishes to know that their belongings will be transported with such excellent levels of skill and genuine care.
